Privacy Policy

Last Updated August 2022

This is our privacy policy. We wrote it with our lawyers because it’s 2022 and this is apparently a thing companies have to do. We take privacy way too seriously, is what we were told, but for good reason: if we didn’t, Ozone wouldn’t work. For real.

In case you don’t want to read pages upon pages of legalese — and we know how much you do — here are the highlights:
If you sign up for our services, we may contact you. When you turn on the Ozone browser plugin, it collects information about the sites you visit. (By now, we hope you know that’s what it does.) We use this information for only a few things:
  • To provide you with insight into your browsing activity;
  • To generate and share aggregate reports about all our users, which do not identify you; and
  • For compliance purposes, which you can learn about below.
You’re in total control of the Ozone browser plug-in and can easily turn it on or off at any time. There’s even a switch that does it! We plan to offer new features that may use your browsing activity, which we’ll tell you about a bunch before we launch them. Our website works like every other website these days: we use tools to monitor how people use it so we can keep it running and make it better.
For all the details on our privacy practices, see our full privacy policy below. It’s important stuff, will make our lawyers happy, and hopefully someone adapts it into a musical someday.
